Vets2Yoga is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping U.S. veterans heal, thrive, and rediscover purpose beyond their time in uniform. Founded by a disabled Air Force veteran who walked the path of trauma and transformation himself, our mission is rooted in lived experience, resilience, and hope. We use yoga, mindfulness, and holistic wellness practices as powerful tools to reduce veteran suicide and address the invisible wounds of war — including PTSD, depression, anxiety, and disconnection from self and society. Through a growing network of trauma-informed programs, digital resources, and community partnerships, we create spaces where veterans can find belonging, regain balance, and rebuild their lives on their own terms. Our approach is inclusive, accessible, and designed to honor every veteran's unique journey — while also supporting their families and loved ones, who are vital to the healing process. At Vets2Yoga, we believe that true service doesn’t end with deployment — it continues with compassion. Every breath, every class, every conversation is a step toward a future where no veteran feels alone, and every veteran has the tools and support to live fully.
Kristopher Pace is a 100% permanently and totally disabled U.S. Air Force veteran who found healing through yoga after facing the painful realities of PTSD, depression, and the isolating aftermath of military service. Like so many veterans, Kris returned home with invisible wounds that traditional treatments failed to fully address. Therapy, medication, and coping mechanisms weren’t enough. It wasn’t until he discovered yoga — through breath work, mindful movement, and deep self-exploration — that he began to reconnect with himself and reclaim his life. Yoga didn’t just help Kris survive; it gave him the tools to heal, grow, and truly live again.
That personal transformation sparked a deeper calling: to help other veterans find their own path to peace, purpose, and wholeness. Vets2Yoga was born not just from a desire to teach yoga, but from the urgent need to build a bridge between the warrior and the world they return to — one rooted in compassion, community, and understanding.
Today, Kris dedicates his life to empowering fellow veterans through trauma-informed yoga, holistic wellness education, and real, human connection. He speaks openly about his journey and leads with vulnerability, strength, and hope — because he knows what it’s like to feel lost, and what it takes to find your way back. Through Vets2Yoga, Kris is turning pain into purpose and forging a new path forward for veterans and the families who love them.

OUR STORY
Vets2Yoga began with just one man, one mat, and a mission: to survive. For Kristopher Pace, a 100% permanently and totally disabled U.S. Air Force veteran, yoga wasn’t a trendy wellness practice — it was a lifeline. After returning home with PTSD, chronic pain, and the emotional scars of service, Kris found himself struggling to stay afloat. Traditional treatments didn’t reach the depth of his trauma. But breath by breath, yoga gave him the tools to reconnect — to his body, his mind, and eventually, to purpose.
That purpose became Vets2Yoga.
What started with small group classes and podcast conversations soon evolved into a growing movement. From basement studios to veteran events, Kris showed up — not just to teach, but to listen, support, and share a new way forward. And the message resonated. Founded in 2023, Vets2Yoga has grown from a grassroots effort into a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on ending veteran suicide through trauma-informed yoga, holistic wellness, and strong community networks. By 2025, the organization had built credibility through veteran outreach, podcast appearances, yoga workshops, and a rapidly expanding support system.
